We love Maui and go back every year, usually during the spring and summer months. This year, I have bribed my way with my family to forgo the usual cold, stress filled Christmas and head to Maui. EVERYONE'S on board. Now the dilema......are there any awesome, Christmas festivities to do while on Maui? I don't really want to cut the holiday COMPLETELY out... :)...

Well, Zippy's is now offically opened on Maui. Last week when we went for dinner at 8:30pm (pre-opening week) the waiter or whomever he was said that they, the restaurant side is closed. I just experienced my first trip to Maui in April.. It was fantastic! I loved it so much I did not want to come home. It was the tail end of whale season so we were able to see quite a few whales. They would come right up beside the boat. Even saw a full breach!We also took the road to Hana and I must say the drive was BEAUTIFUL! Long though.. It took almost 2 hrs to go about 45 miles.
